The members of the Warren Winter Guards will be trained in basic flag, rifle, and dance technique, while also learning choreography for a 3-4 minute show. The Warren Cadet Guard participates in the Indiana High School Color Guard Association. Girls & Boys, in grades 9-12, who are currently Creston, Raymond Park, Stonybrook, and Warren Central HS students are eligible to participate as JV Color Guard members.

Girls & Boys, 6-8 grade, who are currently attending Creston, Stonybrook, or Raymond Park Intermediate Academies and Middle schools are eligible to participate as "Cadet Guard" members.

Girls & Boys, 5th grade, who are currently attending Creston, Stonybrook, or Raymond Park Intermediate Academies and Middle schools are eligible to participate as "Prelude Guard" members.

Many seasons later, this fundamentals program is one of the integral building blocks of the Warren Central Color Guard program.
